What can be registered as an Industrial Design
An industrial design or model, must meet certain prerequisites and particularly to be new and unique so as to be registered.
An industrial design or model is considered new if it is not known to the public prior the submission date or, in case where priority date is claimed, prior to priority date.
An industrial design or model is considered unique, when the outline, shape, form, colours and decoration are applied to the product in such a manner so that the total impression it causes to an informed user differs from the total impression caused by a previous design which is known to the public.
Furthermore, an industrial design or model must not conflict law or morality, or the way which a product operates or component parts of a product which however are not visible during normal use of the product.
