Lifecycle
The lifecycle of a trademark begins with the creation of the elements that will comprise the trademark, its filing with the Trademarks Register, its maintenance in the Trademarks Register throughout its protection period, and terminates either with the expiry of its protection period or with the termination of its registration prior its expiry.
