Amending details of applicant, beneficiary, licensee, lawyer

After the submission of an application for a trademark's registration or its registration, the beneficiary may proceed with changes as to the name or address of:

• applicant;
• trademark's beneficiary;
• licensee; or
• lawyer representing the applicant.

Filing of a change of name/address

You may submit an application for the change of name and address (form Ε.Σ 08), by hand / post, accompanied by the fee of fifty one euro (€51) for every change concerning the first class and eighteen euro (€18) for every change concerning beyond the first class. 

The fees above are payable in cash, by cheque,  through an account in the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property or through bank transfer, in case of submission by hand/post.

Provided that the Intellectual Property Section is satisfied that all, depending on the case, legal requirements have been met, proceeds with the filing of the changes and the updating of the trademark register.

In case you wish to request the issuance of certified or uncertified copies, you may submit an application for obtaining trademark's certified copies.
