Grant Certificate

Proof of receipt of documents

After the receipt of your application, the Intellectual Property Section issues the relevant proof of receipt and notifies you of the relevant application number and date.

Issuance of Certificate

Provided that the Intellectual Property Section is satisfied that all, depending on the case, legislative requirements have been met, it issues the supplementary protection certificate for pharmaceutical or plant protection products, updates the patents register and publishes a notification in the Official Gazette of the Republic.

In case you wish to obtain certified copies, you can submit a request for obtaining a patent's certified copies.
