Granting Supplementary Protection Certificate for Medicinal/Plant Protection Products
Applying for an SPC
You can submit an application for granting a supplementary protection certificate for medicinal products (form Π.19) or for plant protection products (form Π.20), by hand / post, accompanied by:
- copy of the license for product's release to the market;
- certified translation of the licence for market release in Greek language, where applicable, either by an affidavit or by sworn translator of the Republic of Cyprus;
- form for authorising an agent ( form Π.8) in case where a power of attorney covering the said procedure has not yet been filed;
- the fee of one hundred euro (€100) payable in cash, by cheque, through an account maintained with the Department of Registrar Companies and Intellectual Property or through bank transfer.
It is noted that the application for the granting of SPCP is submitted no later than six (6) months from the date of granting either the first license for market release of the product or the patent, whichever is the latter.
