About Patent

International classification IPC

The IPC is the international patent classification system managed by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). This system provides an internationally recognized classification system for inventions in relation to what can be registered as a patent.

CPC Classification System
The Cooperative Patent Classification system (CPC) was jointly developed by EPO and USPTO, with the aim to provide an internationally recognised classification system for inventions in relation to what can be registered as a patent.
