Total registered intellectual property rights as at 31/1/21
The above graph illustrates the total number of intellectual property rights that were registered with the Intellectual and Industrial Property Section, as at 31st of December 2020, and relate to:
- National Trademarks
- National Patents
- Translations of European Patents
- Translations of European Patent Claims
- Industrial Designs
Notably, the difference in the total number of registered trademarks in relation to that of previous years, is a result of the implementation of multi-class classification system and the updating of the trademarks registry.
