Switzerland joins TMview
As of 26 October 2015 the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IGE - IPI)has made its trade mark data available to the TMview trade mark search tool.
The integration of IGE - IPIis a concrete result of the International Cooperation programme managed by OHIM in collaboration with its international partners.
With IGE - IPIon-board, there are now 42 participating offices in TMview. With the addition of almost 360.000trade marks from Switzerland, TMview now provides information and access to more than 28 million trade marks in total.
Since the introduction of TMview on 13 April 2010, the tool has served more than 15,9million searches from 149 different countries, with users from Spain, Germany and Italy among the most frequent visitors.
