Cyprus Office Harmonization as to the common list of descriptions for goods and/or services
As from the 25th of November 2013, the Cyprus Office has been harmonised in the common list regarding the descriptions of the goods and/or services for classification purposes.
The Harmonization Project of the acceptability of the descriptions of the goods and/or services has reached an important milestone. As from the date mentioned above, the Cyprus Office and the national offices of Benelux, Lithuania, Latvia and Hungary have been integrated in the Common Harmonised Database which deals with the classification of goods and services.
Due to the common efforts that have been made in the framework of the Convergence Programme, the complete translations of the national languages of the above countries are from now on available to all users through the TMclass application.
The Harmonization project for the national IP offices are in continuous progress since the date of its creation. Today, the national offices of the member states of the European Union which form part of the Common Harmonized Database are 22, thus bringing further benefits for users across the European Union.
